Shop Artwork

I decided that my husbands workshop/garage needed some artwork.  He has a love for 1956 Chevy Cameo pickups.

So I came up with an idea for a painting that shows a rusty and unrestored front end of a truck blended with a fully restored back end. The idea is to show progress or change or a before/after combined into one painting.  I'm not finished with it yet, but I'm pleased with the way it's turning out.

Merry Christmas, Hubby.

My Favorite Photographer

Photo courtesy of Lizzie Bee Photography

Beth of Lizzie Bee Photography is a natural light photographer in the Phoenix, Arizona area.  We had the pleasure of having Beth take our very first family photos while she was on a California road trip. Oh, what fun we had!  Her work is amazing. We had so much fun.  I can't wait to do it again (that's saying a lot because I am VERY camera shy).

Save Some Green $$ - Foaming Hand Soap

I love foaming hand soap.  For years I've bought the refills that correspond with my dispensers. I recently realized that I'm paying a lot more than I need to be.  It's easy to make your own.  I now buy regular antibacterial hand soap refill. You simply fill your dispenser with about 40% soap and 40% tap water.  Then simply screw on the pump and shake to mix.  Make adjustments to the ratio of soap/water as needed. Add more water if the soap seams too thick and struggles to come out properly.
